FOR F.Y. 2022-23, THE CBDT NOTIFIES COMMON OFFLINE UTILITIES FOR ITR 1 TO ITR 4

The Income Tax Department has stated that e-filing of ITR 1 to ITR 4 for the financial year 2022-23 is now possible. With effect from the assessment year 2022-23, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced the common utilities for ITR-1 to ITR-4 filing.The “E-filing of ITR 1 to ITR 4 for FY 2022-23” was enabled on the Income Tax Department’s website. ITR Offline Utility can be downloaded from the “Downloads” menu option and used to fill out and file the ITR. These ITRs will be available for filing online in the near future.ITR-1 can be submitted by a Resident Individual whose total income does not exceed Rs 50 lakh during the financial year. Salary, one-house property, family pension income, agricultural revenue, and other forms of income. It also included Bank Savings Account Interest Deposit Interest (Bank, Post Office, Cooperative Society) Interest on Enhanced Compensation Interest from Income Tax Refund Any other sources of interest income Pensions for families, etc.
