E-portal launched for filing a complaint regarding Tax evasion/Benami Properties and Foreign Undisclosed Assets
The Central Board of Direct Taxes has launched an automated dedicated e-portal on the e-filing website of the Department to receive and process complaints of Tax evasion, foreign undisclosed assets as well as complaints regarding Benami properties.
The public can now file a tax evasion petition through a link on the e-filing website of the Department on https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ under the subject “File complaint of tax evasion/undisclosed foreign asset/ Benami property”.

Due Dates for filing of Form GSTR-3B for the month of December 2020
The Ministry of Finance in the recent notification has inserted rule 6 in Rule 61 (Form and manner of furnishing of return) of the CGST Rule, 2017 to provide staggered filing of form GSTR-3B, for tax period December 2020 as under:
For a taxpayer with an aggregate turnover of more than Rs 5 crore, the due date for filing Form GSTR-3B is 20th January 2021.
For a taxpayer whose turnover is up to Rs 5 crore, the due date for filing of Form GSTR-3B is 22nd January 2021 and for remaining States is on 24th January 2021.
