Under the PM SVANidhi scheme, over 23 lakh loans have been authorised for beneficiaries
More than 23 lakh loans have been approved to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors, Atma Nirbhar Nidhi Scheme – PM SVANidhi, according to the government. A total of 18 lakh loans have been allocated to the recipients.
The PM SVANidhi scheme was launched on 1st June last year with the aim of providing a collateral-free working capital loan of up to ten thousand rupees to around 50 lakh street vendors across the country whose businesses had been negatively impacted by the lockdown.
The programme also includes rewards such as a 7% annual interest subsidy for on-time loan repayment and a cash-back reward of up to one hundred rupees per month for completing prescribed digital transactions.
Until February this year, more than 57,000 crore rupees had been disbursed under the Atal Pension Yojana.
According to the government, more than 57 lakh rupees have been disbursed under the Atal Pension Yojana as of February this year.
The Atal Pension Yojana is a government scheme that was launched on May 9, 2015.
It is available to all Indian people aged 18 to 40 who have a savings bank account with a bank or post office. Subscribers will begin to receive benefits from the scheme when they reach the age of 60, and the scheme offers five pension plan slabs ranging from one thousand to five thousand rupees.
For subscribers who joined the scheme between June 1, 2015 and March 31, 2016, the Central Government co-contributes 50% of the overall contribution or one thousand rupees per annum, whichever is lower.
